Jasbir Bagary

Jasbir Bagary is a seasoned financial professional who established her early career in KPMG auditory department Jasbir Bagary has worked with a wide range of companies. In the early days, she was involved in the preparation and auditing of accounts; as well as providing help and advice on tax issues for directors of small businesses. During her time at KPMG, she qualified as a Chartered Accountant ACA and went on to specialise as a tax consultant giving advice to individuals and small companies.

Having a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance and ACA qualifications under her belt, she wanted to give something back. With an easygoing manner and a passion for developing people she went on to be a Principal Lecturer at a London University. Jasbir spent 15 years teaching on the HND, Accounting Degree, CIMA and ACCA accountancy qualifications courses. Her time at the university was spent developing modules and programmes for students, preparing hand out, monitoring and mentoring students helping them to achieve success. Whilst teaching Jasbir gained another qualification – PG Cert in Teaching.

Following a successful time at the university and ready for a new challenge Jasbir became a founder member of the JMR UK. She plays an active part of Finance Director on the board and is involved in all financial modelling and accounting, as well as an advisory role in The Finance IT Network (FITN) a networking group supported by the company that regularly meet to discuss innovation in financial services technology. She has recently also been appointed as Finance Director of IS2UK Ltd , a company bringing international insurance products to the UK.

An active entrepreneur, Jasbir has also played a founding role in a business importing leading women’s designer wear from India. Dynamic and Highly organised Jasbir brings a wealth of finance and accounting experience to all businesses she is involved in. Yet she is not only a prolific entrepreneur, but also has high academic achievements with accreditations in ACA, BA (Hons) and a PG Cert in teaching.
